The Expo

The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon Expo will take place at ZeroSpace in Gowanus. This is where you'll pick up your race bib and official race shirt (if you didn't have them mailed to you), bag check any items you'll want to pick up after the race, shop for official Brooklyn Experience Half merch, meet our partners and local businesses and causes, and more.

Days & Hours

• Thursday, April 24 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

• Friday, April 25 from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

• Saturday, April 26 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Bib & Shirt Pickup

You or a proxy (see below) must pick up your race bib and official race shirt in-person at the Expo (unless you're having them them mailed to you, see below). Please note, bib & shirt pickup will not be available on race morning.

You’ll need to show your unique QR code to pick up your bib and shirt. Your QR code will be emailed to you the week leading up to the race and will also be located on your NYCRUNS Dashboard under Upcoming Races. The QR code can be added to your Apple Wallet. If a photo of your QR code works best, that’s fine too.

As per NYCRUNS policy and for the safety of all runners, only you can run with the bib that's assigned to you. Bib transfers are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Proxy Bib Pickup

You may have another runner or other proxy pick up your bib and shirt for you. The proxy must have a screenshot of the race QR confirmation code of the runner(s) they are picking up the bib(s) for.

Bib & Shirt Mailing

If you're concerned about making it to the Expo to pick up your bib and shirt, you can purchase Bib & Shirt Mailing (or a VIP package which includes Bib & Shirt Mailing among other benefits) and you'll receive them both approximately a month before the race. We can  only send bibs and shirts to mailing addresses within the United States.

The cost for bib and shirt mailing is $45. VIP packages begin at $75. You can sign up for these benefits at race registration check out or if you're already a registered runner, you can add these benefits by modifying your registration on your NYCRUNS Dashboard.

Bag Check

Bag check will be available only at the Expo. There will be no race day bag check. If you plan on checking items, you must use one single clear bag. If your bag isn't clear, NYCRUNS will provide you with a clear bag (18" x 24"). You may not put another full bag/backpack/briefcase filled with gear inside the clear bag that NYCRUNS provides. All items must fit inside one clear bag. NYCRUNS reserves the right to search the contents in your bag at any time. Bags will be available to pickup after you finish at the Post-Race Festival Area in the Neathermead at Prospect Park. Bags will be available to pick up beginning at approximately 8:30 AM.

Shop for Gear

Shop for official NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon merch at the Expo Store. The store will feature sleek tees, cozy hoodies, breathable tanks, cool caps, and other fun race mementos. Plus, you can pre-order your customizable finisher items!

Getting to the Expo

The Expo will take place at ZeroSpace, located at 345 Butler St. in Brooklyn.

Take the subway (2/3, 4/5, B/D, or N/Q/R) to Atlantic Ave.-Barclays Center. It's about a 10 minute walk along 4th Ave. to Butler St. The Expo entrance at ZeroSpace is between 3rd Ave. and 4th Ave. You can also take the bus (B103) or use Citi Bike (stations on 3rd Ave and 4th Ave.). Street parking is limited, though there are a few lots nearby.

ZeroSpace is super cool, immersive theatrical next-gen production studio and entertainment venue of the future. Featuring one of the only fixed-wall LED XR Stages on the East Coast, a Vicon Motion Capture Stage, and 40,000 sq. feet of rentable warehouse space for film/photo shoots and live event productions (such as the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Expo).
