After the race, family & friends can meet up with runners next to the Festival Area in Prospect Park or at another pre-planned destination outside the park.
The Family & Friends Reunion Area is located just outside the Festival Area on the eastern end of the Nethermead. Runners must exit the Festival Area to meet their family and friends. Towers lettered A-Z will mark the spot for the post-race meet up. Just meet you at the appropriately lettered tower matching the first letter of the runner's last name. As a reminder, no public access is permitted in the Runners-Only Finish Area or Festival Area without proper credentials.
The Family & Friends Reunion Area can be accessed from the Vanderbilt St. entrance on Prospect Park Southwest or Machate Circle (near the F and G subway station at Fort Hamilton Parkway), through the Endale Arch (near the 2 and 3 subway station at Grand Army Plaza), or Parkside Ave. & Ocean Ave. (next to the Q subway station at Parkside Ave). There will be directional signage and event staff along the routes leading to the Festival Area for family and friends to follow.
Runners can also choose to meet up with family and friends at a pre-determined location outside the park near the Finish Area (such as a local bar, restaurant, or coffee shop). Check out our app for post-race deals around the park.
Take a screenshot of any maps you'll need to navigate around the Finish Area so you can access them in the event cell service is spotty due to possible cell network saturation.
