The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon Finish Line is located on Center Drive in Prospect Park. Due to security and space constraints, finish line access is restricted to event participants and credentialed event staff only. Those holding Finish Line passes purchased by a registered runner can access the Finish Line viewing section. All friends and family will meet up with runners after the race at the Festival Area in the Nethermead.

Post-Race Walk Off

After you cross the Finish Line and Win Your Race, you’ll receive your well-earned Finisher’s Medal followed by refueling options including smartwater in a can, Thirst Quencher Lemon-Lime Gatorade, Deliciously Ella Oat Bars, fresh New York State apples, and Brooklyn’s best bagel (with a schmear, of course). 

Meeting Family & Friends After The Race

The Family & Friends Reunion Area will be located just outside the Festival Area on the eastern end of the Nethermead. There will be four (4) Meeting Zone Towers denoted by letter groups (A-D) (E-K) (L-Q) (R-Z) representing the first letter of your last name. Just have your supporters meet you at the appropriate Tower. The Nethermead can be accessed via Well House Drive and the Endale Arch. There will be directional signage leading to the Festival Area for your family and friends to follow.

Celebrate In The Festival Area

Join the post-race celebration in the Festival Area after you finish. Our live DJ will get the good vibes rolling. Try a Lucky Energy drink. Grab some swag (and a photo) from a few Walkers (not runners) from Walking Dead: Dead City. Take photos with MarathonFoto at our fun event backdrops. Ring the NYCRUNS “Win Your Race” Finisher Gong. And much more!

Half-A-Finish Area

Oatly is proud to present their Half-A-Finish-Area at the end of the race. You’ll find free Oatly swag and recovery smoothies made with Oatly Original oatmilk in one half of their booth, and a lounging area for runners on the other half.

Pick Up Your Bag

If you checked a bag at the pre-race Expo, you’ll pick it up after the race at the Bag Check Pick-Up Area located on Well House Drive, about a five-minute walk from the Festival Area. Just follow the signs to Bag Check.

Finish Line Viewing Area & Festival Access For Family & Friends

Finish Line Viewing Area Access Passes are the only way for friends and family to watch you at the Finish Line and hang with you after the race in the Festival Area. A limited number of passes are still available for purchase at the pre-race Expo, while supplies last. Medical Support

Our medical team will be positioned at the Finish, Post-Finish Walk Off, and Festival Area, as well as at two (2) Medical Stations, to help with any medical assistance you might need.

Visit Smorgasburg

Grab a post-race bite at Smorgasburg in Prospect Park. Located on Breeze Hill, near the Lincoln Road entrance, you’ll find everything your post-race appetite craves at this beloved food festival featuring a range of delights from local food spots.

Official Post-Race Finisher Party

Head to Threes Brewing at 333 Douglas Street in Gowanus and join your fellow finishers for the “Last Mile @ Threes” where you’ll continue the celebration with an award-winning complimentary Vliet Pilsner when showing your medal.

Check Your Results

Your preliminary results will be in the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon App. Soon after the race ends, you can check your results on the NYCRUNS results page.

Finish Line Photos

We’ve got your covered at the Finish! You’ll receive an email in the days after the race from MarathonFoto with details on how to claim your complimentary Finish Line photo.

You can purchase a full package of photos covering your run from Start to Finish when you register for the race, or if you’re already registered, you can purchase the package on your NYCRUNS Dashboard by modifying your registration.
